Word about the plague is getting scarier,
Continents or oceans pose no barrier.
The plague cuts blockades and quarantine,
No matter winter or summer it keeps on movin’.
Fear and despair are here and there,
As ghosts of death swarm far and near.
Even heirs to the once mighty Romans and Cyrus,
Are today victims of a tiny thing called “virus”.
